On Dec. 27th,  CUAA released its annual rankings of universities of China. In the list, JXUST was ranked No. 174 among all 2,879 higher education institutions in China. This indicates that the school has taken a solid step towards building a high-level research-intensive university.  

In the past three years, the university has witnessed a rapid growth in its academic and research endeavors. In 2018, the programs of mining engineering, metallurgical engineering, material science, chemistry were accredited to be the cutting-edge disciplines of China. Two alumni were selected to be academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering. The Development and Utilization Base of Rare Earth Resources was authorized by the Ministry of Education. All these herald a promising future of JXUST in the coming days.
