On the afternoon of April 1, Gong Yaoteng, standing Member of the Party Committee and vice president of JXUST, visited the school for research and guidance. Some people accompanied him, including Director of JXUST Works Department Wang Fengsuo, and Secretary of the JXUST Youth League Committee Yang Zhiyong. Many people attended the discussion, including Dean of our college He Guichun, Secretary of the Party Committee Chen Ming, Vice President of our college Chen Fei, and all counselors.

Gong stressed that the current epidemic prevention and control situation is still grim, and the college must have a clear picture of the facts and accurately grasp the dynamics of students. He required: First, the college should go deep into students, especially do a good job in the graduate entrance examination, employment and graduation project (thesis) guidance, care about students;

Second, the college is supposed to strengthen the linkage between instructors and professional teachers, communicate more, complement each other, consolidate students' professional knowledge and ideological and political education, and train students to become high-quality talents.

Third, students’ awareness on epidemic prevention and control should be further enhanced. They must comply with the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, strictly control entrance and exit, and respond to students’ concerns in a timely manner.

Later, Gong came to the graduation room of Yifu Building to learn about the completion of the graduation project and thesis of senior students, hoping to guide teachers and students to complete the graduation project (thesis) with high efficiency and high quality.
