5. Confucius Institute

   In 2015, approved by and with the support of Confucius institute Headquarters (Hanban), JXUST built its first Confucius Institute University of the Punjab, Pakistan (CIPU). The Confucius institute has been committed to teaching the Chinese language and promoting Chinese culture. As of October 2018, CIPU has taught more than 2500 students and its Chinese Test Center received approximately 2500 students who have taken the Chinese Proficiency Test. In addition to this, the cultural activities held by CIPU have attracted audiences of more than 15,000 people.
