Our school held a "4+0" study abroad program presentation

On March 23rd and 29th, our school held the "Mining Engineering 4+0" undergraduate study abroad program in classroom 1108 of the Bishop Building of the West Campus and classroom 1206 of the Mingde Building of the Golden Campus. Teacher Yan Xiaoyun from the Jiangxi Jinbailing Study Abroad Service Center was invited to the college to give a lecture. Liu Hao, deputy director and deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee, counselor Yi Fang, and all students of the 2019 and 2020 mining (Chinese and foreign) majors participated in this lecture.

Yan Xiaoyun briefly introduced the relevant policies of the school's international cooperation in running schools, and shared with the students the life of some students studying abroad and some interesting experiences.

Aiming at students majoring in mining (Chinese and foreign), Yan Xiaoyun emphatically introduced the situation of Laurentian University in Canada. She talked about three aspects: the comparison between Chinese and foreign universities, the comparison between ordinary studying abroad and the comparison of studying abroad in Sino-foreign cooperative education, and the paid internship abroad. She cited the comparison between the living environment and learning environment of Laurentian University and domestic universities. She said that in Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, students have more advantages to study abroad, and they can experience new cultures and lifestyles abroad.

After the lecture, Yan Xiaoyun answered some questions from the students about studying and living abroad, and communicated with students who intend to study abroad.
