The 17th "Challenge Cup" national extracurricular academic and technological works competition of Jiangxi University of Technology
On March 27, the 17th "Challenge Cup" national extracurricular academic and technological works competition of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology was held in Longfei teaching building of Hongqi campus.
After one afternoon's presentation, 12 works such as "photocatalytic wastewater purification - New bismuth based catalyst" of the Department of Materials Metallurgy Chemistry won the first prize, 21 works such as "bacteriostasis, mining and metallurgy soap" of the College of Resources and Environmental Engineering won the second prize, and the third prize was "urban Village Reconstruction Research Based on urban marketing perspective" , Taking yuwanli, Ganzhou City as an example ” and so on.
According to the results of the final, our school will recommend 12 works to participate in the provincial competition. Since the competition started in December 2020, 157 works have been submitted. After the evaluation of experts organized by the Youth League Committee, a total of 68 works were shortlisted in the final. The final is divided into three groups: natural science academic papers, scientific and technological invention and production, philosophy and Social Sciences, social investigation reports and academic papers; the defense process is divided into two parts: work presentation and judges' questions.
It is reported that the "Challenge Cup" National College Students' extracurricular academic and technological works competition is jointly sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the China Association for science and technology, the Ministry of education, the all China Federation of students and local governments. It is known as the "Olympic" grand event of contemporary college students' scientific and technological innovation. It has played a positive role in promoting the growth of young innovative talents, deepening quality education in Colleges and universities, and promoting economic and social development.
