Demonstration teaching activities held in our college
In order to promote the improvement of undergraduate teaching and strengthen the construction of teachers' ethics, the school of resources and environmental engineering held a demonstration teaching activity in the academic lecture hall of Yifu Building, golden campus on the afternoon of June 15. Chen Xirong, a teacher from the Department of materials metallurgy chemistry, was invited to give a demonstration teaching. In the demonstration teaching class, Chen Xirong took the course of chemical reaction engineering of Applied Chemistry as an example to describe a lesson about reaction equipment in industrial reaction. In the class, Chen Xirong combined various ways such as learning, PPT and so on to give a vivid and interesting lecture of professional knowledge. After putting forward the problems from laboratory to engineering scale-up, Chen Xirong introduced the mathematical simulation scale-up method. Then, the reactors used in industry are classified, and the calculation principle and scale-up model of batch reactor are explained in detail. Finally, in the summary of the whole class, the demonstration class is concluded.
