On October 17, the Youth League Committee of our university held the final of the 2021 "micro League class" competition with the theme of "learning party history, strengthening faith and following the party" in the academic lecture hall of the library of Hongqi campus.
The competition has two links: theoretical test and League class teaching. It is divided into three groups: League cadre teacher group, young teacher group and student group. 36 teachers and students from all colleges (departments) of the University participated in the competition.
In the morning, the League cadres group and the young teachers group took the lead in the competition. Liu Hao, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee of our college, with the theme of "making a torch into a Yang", talked about the development of Chinese youth through the deeds of the post-80s, post-90s and post-00s, indicating that there is no "Beat Generation" in China, and encouraged the students to strengthen their inner beliefs and practical efforts, starting from small things to make a torch into a Yang. Ye Jingsheng, counselor of Zihuan college, took "we need Zhou Enlai spirit" as the theme and cited specific examples to tell what Zhou Enlai spirit is. He said that as a youth in the new era, we should take Zhou Enlai as an example and let ourselves get spiritual sublimation.
In the afternoon, Chen Yuxin and Wang Yajun, members of the red culture propaganda group of college students of our college, went to the student group competition. They explained the group class with the theme of "what should we look like" and spoke out their own characteristics and style. Through the touching deeds of Paralympic athlete Li Hao, hero Chen Yannian and doctor Huang Guoping, they reflect the brilliant appearance of contemporary youth who should be living and struggling.
After fierce competition, finally, Mr. Liu Hao won the second prize of the league cadre group, Mr. Ye Jingsheng won the third prize of the young teachers group, and Chen Yuxin and Wang Yajun of the college students' red culture propaganda group won the first prize of the student group with the results of theoretical test, League class teaching and comprehensive ranking.
