In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and strengthen the study and education of party history, our college held a public benefit film screening activity of “Red Classics into campus” in the lecture hall of Yifu Building in the evening of November 5th, showing the film “The Captain” for the teachers and students of our college.

With the theme of respecting life, taking the responsibility, rules and regulations, the film depicts an extremely rare incident on May 14, 2018, when the crew of Sichuan Airlines flight 3U8633 encountered the windshield of the cockpit breaking off and the pressure of the cockpit releasing. In the film, the crew did their best to protect passengers’ safety regardless of personal safety, showing a high sense of responsibility and mission. All students were deeply shocked and moved by the deeds of the hero pilot and the hero crew when watching the film.

After watching the film, the students said that they should learn from the hero captain’s professionalism to enhance their sense of responsibility. On the one hand, students should temper rigorous style, correct learning attitude, and constantly strengthen theoretical knowledge learning. On the other hand, students are supposed to learn the party history education theme activities into every minute corner of learning life. By doing so, a wonderful youth chapter of life will be written.
