On March 16, tungsten science and Technology (English) (tungsten) published by Youke journal publishing (Beijing) Co., Ltd., with Jiangxi University of technology as the first sponsor and China Nonferrous Metals Society as the second sponsor, officially received the notice of inclusion in the American Engineering Index Database (EI Compendex), becoming the first scientific and technological journal included in the EI database in Jiangxi Province. As of January 2022, the EI Compendex database included 235 Chinese mainland journals, including 11 English China Periodicals in 2022. This is the second time that the journal has been included in an important international database after being included in Scopus database in February, marking a more solid step in establishing a high-quality journal with international influence.
Tungsten science and Technology (English) was founded in 2019, with Professor Yang Bin of Jiangxi University of technology as the editor in chief, Tu hailing, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering as the honorary editor in chief, and 48 experts from more than 10 countries around the world as the editorial board. The journal is the first English science and technology journal in the world to mainly report tungsten and related metals and their compounds, and it is also the first English journal in Jiangxi Province. The editorial department has been committed to building tungsten science and Technology (English) Journal into an international academic exchange and communication platform, cooperating with Clarivate company of the United States and adopting ScholarOne international submission and review system; Cooperate with Springer-Nature, a world-renowned publisher, to publish online electronic articles on the Springerlink platform, and broaden the expression forms and international communication channels of the contents of journals through various media integration methods of web terminals and mobile terminals, so as to improve the display and discourse power of Chinese researchers in the field of tungsten and related metals in the field of relevant international science.
At present, the scope of journal articles includes nuclear materials, energy conversion and storage, low dimensional materials, polyoxometalates, high entropy alloys, topological materials, negative thermal expansion materials, catalytic materials, hard and refractory alloys, biomedical materials, electronic materials, advanced metallurgical technology, surface treatment, 3D printing, calculation and simulation, recycling and reuse and other fields.
