On December 16th, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League released the typical experience and practices of grassroots league organizations and league cadres in helping students from low-income families to find jobs. Guided by “Four Precise All-round Assistance”, Liu Hao, deputy secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee of our college, started work to help students from low-income families find jobs, which has been selected as the typical experience of grassroots cadres of the Central Committee of the Youth League. (93 items nationwide).
Actively responded to the call, Liu took a multi-pronged approach. Firstly, he grasped the new employment situation, continuously strengthened the expansion of employment channels and continuously improved the quality of employment services. In addition, Liu helped low-income family graduates to find jobs by adopting “four precisions” such as accurately understanding the employment intentions of students from low-income families, accurately solving the employment difficulties of students from low-income families, accurately introducing jobs for students from low-income families, and accurately carrying out employment guidance for students from low-income families. Two students from low-income families in class of 2022 were paired up to help them find jobs smoothly.
Over the past year, the league organizations and cadres at all levels in our university have overcome difficulties, taken the initiative, performed their duties and responsibilities, paid close attention to employment assistance, which has helped 47 graduates from low-income families find jobs.
In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on the employment of college graduates and the relevant decision-making arrangements of the central government, and effectively serve the job of stabilizing employment and ensuring employment, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League initiated and implemented the “Action of the Communist Youth League to Promote College Students’ Employment”, and fully promoted the “Employment Assistance Program for Students from Low-income Families in Colleges and Universities” as a key project.
