Recently, the Committee of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC Committee) announced the results of 2019 NSFC program review. 43 grant proposals of JXUST were accepted, bringing a total direct funding of 14.87 million yuan. Among the approved projects, three projects in General Programs receive a direct funding of 1.8 million yuan; nineteen projects in Young Scientist Fund are supported by 4.67 million yuan; and twenty-one projects in Fund for Less Developed Regions are funded with 8.4 million yuan.
These approved projects fall within funding scope of various departments of NSFC, including Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Department of Chemical Sciences, Department of Earth Sciences, Department of Engineering and Materials Sciences and Department of Information Sciences. The direct funding is allocated to JXUST’s schools as following.
