On June 20, our college held an online signing ceremony with the school of Geosciences of the University of Florence in the first conference room of Yifu Building in the golden campus. Professor Nicola Casagli, Emanuele Intrieri, senior researcher of the school of Geosciences of the University of Florence, He Guichun, President of the college, Chen Ming, Secretary of the Party committee, Yu Xinyang, vice president, and principals of various disciplines attended the signing ceremony.

He Guichun introduced the basic situation of the College of resources and environmental engineering from the aspects of historical evolution, teachers and discipline development. He Guichun said that he hoped to establish long-term cooperation with the College of Geosciences in engineering geology, geological disasters and other professional fields. In the future, she hoped to carry out diversified cooperation in talent training, student visits, teacher visits and so on.

Subsequently, the school of Earth Sciences and the school of resources and environmental engineering of the University of Florence exchanged views on, further established cooperation items and signed cooperation agreements.
After the signing ceremony, Dr. Emanuele Intrieri gave an academic report entitled "Application of satellite and ground remote sensing in landslide and open-pit mine monitoring" on the second conference room line of Yifu Building in the golden campus. Teachers, graduate students and undergraduates of relevant majors of the college listened to the report.
Emanuele Intrieri gave a rich speech from the principle of remote sensing interference, application scenarios and early warning methods, and listed the application cases of remote sensing monitoring methods in the world. In the interactive session, he explained in depth the questions raised by the students.
